Landscaping Crew Member

Job Overview

We’re seeking a full-time Crew Member to join the team! Ideal candidates are energetic, hard working, and reliable. If this sounds like you, you might be a great fit for our team!

The work day begins in Rockville, VA. Typical work days are Monday-Friday, but some weekend work may be required depending on weather.

Responsibilities

  • Mowing

  • Hedge trimming

  • Mulching

  • Leaf blowing

  • Edging and weeding

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work

  • Experience in landscaping preferred, but not required

  • Responsible and dependable

Compensation

• $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Experienced Landscaping Foreman

Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced, full-time Landscaping Foreman / Crew Leader to join our team! This position is responsible for leading a projects crew and ensuring that jobs are completed successfully and on time.

The work day begins in Rockville, VA. Typical work days are Monday-Friday, but some weekend work may be required depending on weather.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Field Supervisor to take project direction and lead a project crew by delegating responsibilities and tasks to Crew Members

  • Monitoring the progress of every job and keeping it on track to stay within the budgeted hours

  • Ensuring that each project is completed to company standards and within the budgeted hours

  • Safely and responsibly driving a company truck with trailer

  • Providing helpful feedback to employees for a job well done and/or guidance on ways to improve

  • Communicating with the customer to address important information, answer questions as needed, and confirm satisfaction with the project

  • Preparing supplies as needed for the crew to utilize on the job

  • Being a good leader and role model for the crew

  • Troubleshooting common issues as they arise

  • General lawn care maintenance such as mulching, edging, weeding, hedge trimming, and mowing

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a professional landscaper, ideally in a Foreman or Crew Leader position

  • Must be knowledgeable of bed maintenance such as weeding and knowing the difference between plants and weeds

  • Ability to learn and use Service Autopilot (a CRM software) to manage the crew’s jobs

  • Must be proactive with good time management and problem solving skills

  • Effective leadership skills to delegate responsibilities to team members

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the job is done to company standards and staying on track to complete the job within the allocated budgeted hours

  • Responsible and dependable

  • Strong communication skills with team members and customers

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work

  • Driving experience pulling a trailer preferred

Compensation

• $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
